Photo Submitted The 2021 Elkins High School Reunion Tribunal features Kortney Jones, Mackenzie Childers, Lainey Tire, Kayleigh Edwards, Sophia Gillipsie, Anna Belan, Paityn Ware, Alexa Triplett, Tessa Martin, Madalyn Hickman, Anna Crumm, Miriam Fath and Hazel Jackson.

ELKINS – Elkins High School has chosen its 2021 homecoming court. The reunion queen will be crowned during Friday’s soccer game at Elkins High School.

Hazel Jackson represents the freshman class. Hazel is a member of the EHS football team, a gymnast at Tumble Time, and a member of the St. Brendan Catholic Confirmation Class. She plans to attend WVU and become a marine biologist. She is the daughter of Justin and Macy Jackson.

Kourtney Nicole Jones represents the grade two class. Kourtney is the second-year class president, is a member of the Rays and Otters swim teams and the Spanish National Honor Society. She plans to attend Clemson University and medical school in hopes of becoming a trauma surgeon. She is the daughter of JW and Amanda Jones.

The representative of the junior class is Miriam Fath. Miriam is a college cheerleader, a member of the college tennis team, and a dancer. She attends the Presbyterian Church. Her plan for the future is to attend the University of West Virginia. She is the daughter of Rick and Tracy Fath.

Princess Anna Grace Belan is a representative of the senior class. She plays college soccer, college basketball and college track and field. She is also a licensed American football referee. She is a senior class president, student government historian, president of the National Honor Society, and a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Anna plans to go to college, major in communications and continue her football career. She is the daughter of Stephan and Mandy Belan.

Princess Anna Grace Crumm is a representative of the senior class. She is a member of the Old Brick Learning Program and EHS Swimming. She is vice-president of the National Honor Society, a student government parliamentarian, a member of the class council and of the Spanish Honor Society. She plans to go to college and major in forensic science. She is the daughter of Jack and Lisa Crumm.

Princess Mackenzie Nicole Childers is a college cheerleader and college tennis player. She is a member of the student government and Younglife. Mackenzie plans to attend the University of West Virginia in the fall of 2022 and major in physical activity and sports science. She is the daughter of Gary and Melissa Wileman.

Princess Kaleigh Elysse Edwards is a member of the cross country team, swim team and track team. She enjoys skiing and traveling. Her future plans include attending Samford or Baylor with a major in a health science area. She is the daughter of Christine Edwards.

Princess Sophia Mae Gillipsie is a member of the Elkins High School tennis team. She is an active volunteer and works as a lifeguard at the YMCA. She plans to go to college next fall and study visual arts. She is the daughter of Sid and Susan Gillipsie.

Princess Madalyn Elizabeth Hickman is the Secretary of the Upper Class Council, is the Secretary of the Student Government, is a member of the National Honor Society and the EHS Swim Team. She also played the piano for seven years. She plans to go to college and major in biology. She is the daughter of Eric and Melissa Hickman.

Princess Tessa Nicole Martin is a Big 10 All Conference cheerleader. She is a member of the university’s EHS Incentive Squad. She is also a member of the Directory and of the National Honor Society. She plans to attend the University of West Virginia and study health and wellness and become a physiotherapist. She is the daughter of Todd and Susie Martin.

Princess Alexandra Lee Triplett is a member of college football and college basketball. She volunteers as a CCD teacher at the Catholic Church and also volunteers at Davis Medical Center. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society and a member of the class council. She is the president of the EHS student body. She plans to go to college, study health sciences and enter the medical field. She is the daughter of Jefferson and Sylvia Triplett.

Princess Lainey Joy Tire volunteers at the Wyldlife Club at Elkins Middle School. She works as a summer camp counselor at the YMCA. She is a member of the Dance by Farrah competition dance team, as well as a dance assistant. She plans to go to college and study dentistry. She is the daughter of Brian and Sarah Tire.

Princess Paityn Marie Ware works is a member of the upper class council. She works part time at Dairy Queen in Elkins. She plans to attend the University of West Virginia for an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, then go to medical school to study a higher scientific profession. She is the daughter of Gary and Jennifer Ware.

This year’s flower girl for Homecoming Court is Paige Roschelle Hammons. She attends Midland Elementary and is in grade 2. She is the daughter of Tinia Taylor and the niece of Carla Lambert, director of EHS. She has two siblings, Connor Hammons and Emberlee Taylor.

The courtroom crown bearer will be Maddox Crawford. Maddox attends Jennings Randolph Elementary School and is in grade one. He is the son of Megan Phares and Caleb Crawford. Her grandparents are Ed and Bobbi Lighthouses and Lisa and Dennis Crawford. He has a sister Maleah.

The reunion queen will be crowned by the 2020 reunion queen, Addie Berdine. The flower girl and the crown bearer will be escorted by the principal EHS Carla Lambert.
