GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – On Monday, June 21, the Neville Public Museum announced its new art exhibit “Beauty of Beasts: Animal Art”.

Opening on Saturday June 26, the in-house exhibition focuses on animals in art. The exhibition will provide the museum with the opportunity to showcase more than 140 original works of art from the permanent collection of the Neville Public Museum. The work will be complemented by an installation by local artist from Green Bay, Fab Collab.

Deputy director and co-curator of the exhibition, Kevin Cullen is delighted that the public will experience “Beauty of the Beast”. Saying, “For generations animals have appeared in the visual arts in everything from decoration to symbols and allegories. “

Cullen goes on to explain how the exhibit will provide guests with fun facts about animals while also showcasing artwork from their collection that historically has not been on display in this style of presentation.
