Kentucky State Police arrested a person early Tuesday morning in Pendleton County after barricading himself inside a residence with a handgun, FOX19 stories.
The person’s title has not but been launched. A particular KSP response group arrested the person at round 1:30 a.m. after a standoff of greater than 10 hours.
The Northern Elementary College was initially locked out for about two hours Monday afternoon.
A person barricaded himself inside a residence inside 100 blocks of the college after an earlier hostage-taking, Pendleton County 911 dispatchers stated.
SWAT brokers responded to the scenario, which was inside 100 meters of the college, dispatchers stated.
The varsity district introduced that the lockdown was lifted round 5 p.m., with all college students boarding the buses safely, based on a Fb submit from Pendleton County Colleges.
Dispatchers stated a name was initially reported to report a theft at 3 p.m. A lady stated a person took his cellphone.
Later, there have been stories of a home fireplace and hostage taking, dispatchers stated. A younger man was in a position to go away the residence.
