The church will organize a “Back to School Splash”

The Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church sends the community back to school in style with its free “Back to School Splash” event on Saturday August 7 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Parishioners and all members of the community are invited to visit the church at 15985 Ga. Highway 144 in Richmond Hill for a day full of fellowship, great food, games and water activities.

This special event will feature a bouncy house, wading pools, playground, water balloons, and outdoor games – such as bean bags, sidewalk chalk and bubbles – for the kids. Spirit of Peace will provide free popsicles, and the “Let’s Taco Bout It” food truck will be installed so customers can choose to purchase their lunch while enjoying some family time. Entrance to the event is free.

“We are delighted to host this event, open to the entire community, as we return to school. After the uncertain and exhaustive year and a half that we have just lived, we believe that everyone deserves a little fun, ”said Pastor Spirit of Peace Devin Strong. “This event is a way for our church to take a more active role in our community and provide a source of joy and fellowship. We invite everyone in the community to come join us!

The mission of the Spirit of Peace Lutheran Church is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through ministry, promoting a lifestyle of loving worship and service through word and prayer so that all of God’s children know the transforming joy of Christ.
